Functional storage makes your everyday life easier. Elfa has different product lines adapted to different storage needs.
The garage is more than just a place for the car - it’s a space with enormous potential! To get the most out of your garage, it’s important to think about what to store there and how to organise it best.
What things in your garage are frequently used and should be easily accessible? Start by making an inventory. What do you need to have close at hand, and what is rarely used?
Tools, garden tools, sports equipment and car care products are common things to store in the garage, but they require different types of storage solutions. Rakes, brooms and shovels can be placed on the leftover piece of wall material.
There are special holders for sports equipment such as bicycles and golf bags. All kinds of tools are neatly hung on hooks. Small items can be organised in drawer boxes or on shelves, while larger items such as bicycles and winter tyres can be hung to free up floor space.
Also think about security and access. Hazardous chemicals and power tools should be stored in a safe place, out of reach of children and pets. At the same time, make sure that frequently used items are easily accessible - no one wants to have to climb over a pile of old cardboard boxes to find the screwdriver!
Plan your garage interior to maximise space and create a smart storage solution. The system is built in sections with three standard widths: 45, 60 and 90 centimetres, where only the carrier is screwed into the wall for easy installation.
The carrier is available in the same three widths, but can be cut to fit the exact dimensions of the room. Most storage solutions, such as cabinets and pull-out drawers, have a width of 60 centimetres, while wire shelves, clothes rails, work shelves and storage strips are also available in 45 and 90 centimetres.
The hanging rails are available in different lengths, and we recommend using as much wall space as possible for increased flexibility. If you need to adapt the system to obstacles or limited space, you can choose shorter tracks or cut them if necessary.
Do you have less space left? In this case, the carrier rail, wire shelf, clothes rail and storage rail can also be cut to make maximum use of the entire width.
Create the perfect storage for your storage needs! Supplement with shelves and drawers according to your needs and wishes. The trays with soft-close function can be pulled out all the way, so that you can both see and access what you need properly.
Use airy wire shelves for a good overview and choose a melamine shelf for a more solid feel.
The hanging rails are available in different lengths. We recommend using as much of the wall area as possible, as this makes it more flexible. Is there an obstacle in the way or do you only want to use parts of the wall? In this case, select shorter rails. The rails can always be cut if you realise that they are too long.
The carrier bar is available in different widths. Again, we recommend using the full width of the space, so you can expand the storage later if you wish. You build your solution in sections, which are 45, 60 or 90 centimetres wide. Most storage functions, such as cupboards and pull-out drawers, are available in a width of 60 centimetres. Wire shelf, closet rod, work surface and storage track for hooks, also available in 45 and 90 centimetres.
If you have a small area left over, you can cut the carrier rail, wire shelf, clothes rail and storage rail to use the entire width of the space.
