Plan your storage solution easily with our Classic planning guide. Get step-by-step help to create a customised solution that suits your exact needs. Decide beforehand whether or not to have sliding doors, as this affects how you can place the interiors.

1. Using the entire floor-to-ceiling and wall-to-wall area

Elfa Classic is easy to customise. Plan your interior design to make efficient use of the entire space. The frame, top track and standards are built in sections with three different standard widths: 45, 60 and 90. A flexible system where only the top track is screwed into the wall. Combine several sections, with different widths, to adapt the storage to the dimensions of your space. Sometimes it is not enough to combine sections in standard width. You can then choose to cut products in a section so that it becomes narrower than standard.

If you do not want or cannot put screws into your wall, there are also freestanding solutions.

2. Add shelves and drawers

Supplement with shelves and drawers according to your needs and wishes. Create a good overview with airy wire shelves and wire drawers. For a more solid feel, choose a melamine shelf. Wire shelves can be cut to the desired width and customised to suit your storage space.

Total width of the solution

The section width of the top hang click-in system in the table includes the end stops on the top track, 4 mm on each side of the solution.

For wall mounting

The only thing you need to screw into the wall is the top track. Hang the standards on the top track and click the fittings into place using brackets.

Max. weight

The maximum load per section is 200 kg. Do not store too much on each interior product and distribute the weight evenly across the system. Ensure wall material and condition.
