Technical description

Covers the slots in the hang standard to get a smooth surface.

Standards cover is made from colour-matching plastic. Comes in a roll and is to be cut to size with scissors to adjust to the right height. Easy to assemble and reassemble.

When using standard covers when one slot is utilized, standard covers can be cut around the attachment hooks.

Works for both hang standards and wallbands.

Planning rules

When planning in Elfa Planner, click on one of the hang standards and then tick the box for ""standard cover"". The design tool will then calculate the right amount of standard cover needed.

In order to calculate yourself how much standard cover is needed, be sure to have your drawing completed in order to calculate how much ""uncovered"" hang standard space that should be covered. The standard cover comes in a 4224 mm roll.

"You need the following to assemble: measuring tape, scissors.

Before you start: Complete building your storage system - apply the standard cover when you have determined the final position of the functions in the system.

Step 1: Firmly, press the standard cover ""teeth"" on the backside into the hang standard slots, working your way from top to bottom. Apply pressure with, for example, your thumb to ensure that the standard cover is evenly inserted into the hang standard.

Step 2: Where the standard cover meets a function in the system, mark with a pen in order to know where to cut.

Step 3: Cut the standard cover at the mark, using a sharp pair of scissors.

Tip: In situations when one slot is utilized (for example angled shelf or storing board), standard covers can be cut around the attachment hooks. Aim to keep the standard cover in one piece and/or try to place cut ends behind products in the system."
