Technical description

L-shaped hook for hanging up, for example, ladders and cables. To be assembled in a storage track or top track with lockable attachment.

The hook can also be fastened directly to the wall with screws (not included).

Locking feature to lock the hook in place on the track.

If the hook is to be fastened to the wall, we recommend using a screw from Elfa assortment adapted to the wall material.

Hook holder made in PA6 (nylon and glass fiber). Hook in 8 mm steel wire. Rubber part in PVC.

Planning rules

When planning in Elfa Planner, the design tool will help you determine potential placements of the hook.

The intended equipment you want to store in the hook determines the placement.
For example, if you want to store a ladder, make sure that the hook is placed high enough in the system to make room for the legs of the ladder.

Also, ensure that the equipment isn't heavier than the 25 kilo weight recommendation.

We recommend a maximum of 3 "big hooks" (Straight hook, wide L-hook, J-hook, vertical/horizontal bike hook, golf bag holder, square mesh storage bag, track mesh basket) on a W: 60 storage track.

Note: If you aim to mount the hook directly to the wall, make sure to identify where there is an available stud to fasten the hook in (and adjust your planning if necessary).

Wipe clean with a cloth dampered with a mild cleaner. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Assembly Instructions

When mounting on a storage track or top track:

Step 1: Turn the lock counter-clockwise to open the lock.

Step 2: Position the top of the hook over the top edge of the storage track/top track and pull it down into place.

Step 3: Turn the lock clockwise to close.

When fastening directly to the wall:

Step 1: Identify the position on the wall where you want to mount. If mounting on a plaster wall, identify where there is a stud in the wall.

Step 2: Position in place and, using adequate screws for your wall type, fasten through both screw holes.

Step 3: Turn the lock clockwise to close.
