Adapters aimed to mount the storage track between two hang standards.

Fittings made in high quality steel and come in a pair, left and right.

Support in PP to be used during assembly included in package.

When mounting a W: 60 storage track between 2 hang standards:
* Load <10kgs = no need to secure with screw
* Load >10kgs = attach with minimum 1 screw (and plug if plaster wall) positioned in one of the middle storage track bore holes.

Planning rules

When planning in Elfa Planner, the design tool will guide you where a storage track can be placed.

The storage track can either be planned between two hang standards in a section with corresponding width or be fastened directly to the wall.

The storage track fittings use one slot in the respective hang standards it mounts in between and can not be placed next to a bracket click-in. Storage tracks can be planned next to eachother, sharing the same hang standard pair of slots.

Take into account what equipment you intend to store in the storage track, in order to determine which space you need to leave free for, for example, a shelf to be mounted underneath.

Important that no hooks or holders are positioned over the cut-out on the upper storage track ""lip"" due to safety.

We recommend a maximum of 3 ""big hooks"" (Straight hook, wide L-hook, J-hook, vertical/horizontal bike hook, golf bag holder, square mesh storage bag, track mesh basket) on 1 W.60 storage track.

Track standard fittings

You need the following to assemble: Rubber mallet.

Before you start: Mount the hang standards.

Step 1: Identify which storage track fitting is left vs. right. The left fitting has an L-shaped tab pointing to the right when the smooth long side is facing you, and the small tab with a hole is pointing upwards.

Step 2: Push the left and right fittings into the storage track. Use a rubber mallet if needed.

Step 3: Assemble the storage track into the inner slots of the hang standard, by leaning the storage track slightly upwards, so that the upper "teeth" can be inserted into the designated slots. The lower teeth will then fit in easily, when lowering down the storage track.

Step 4 (depending on load): Secure the storage track with screws.

Track with Track Fittings in a W: 60 section
* Load <10kgs = no need to secure with screw
* Load >10kgs = minimum 1 screw positioned in the middle

Track with Track Fittings in a W: 90 section
Load <10kgs = minimum 1 screw positioned in the middle
Load >10kgs = minimum 2 screws positioned in the 2 center screw holes

It is not recommended to use Track Fittings in sections wider than W: 90 (>900 mm).

Important that no Hooks be positioned over the cut out due to safety.
