Technical description

Covers the slots in the standard to get a smooth surface. Made from a colour-matching polypropylene plastic. Comes in a 1100 mm (43 1/4") piece and can be cut to size with scissors (or a carpet knife) to adjust to the right height. Two standard covers can be placed above eachother. In cases where when one slot on the standard is utilized, standard covers can be cut around the attachment hooks. Standard covers are easy to assemble and re-assemble, due to the click-on function.

Planning rules

When planning in Elfa Planner, click on one of the standards and then tick the box for "standard cover". The design tool will then calculate the right amount of standard cover needed. In order to calculate yourself how much standard cover is needed, be sure to have your drawing completed in order to calculate how much "uncovered" hang standard space that should be covered. The standard cover is 1100 mm (47-1/4").

Maximum load capacity per section: 200 kg (Classic by Elfa, click-in top-hung system) and 240 kg (Garage+/Décor+). Avoid overloading individual storage components and distribute the weight evenly across the system. Different products have different recommended maximum load capacities. For more information, please refer to the Product Information section for each product, as well as Measure & Plan. Before installation, check the wall material and condition. Elfa's product range is generally designed for normal use in residential indoor environments.

Care

Wipe clean with a cloth dampered with a mild cleaner. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Assembly Instructions

You need the following for installation: Tape measure, scissors (or utility knife). Before you start: Install the hang standards and all other storage functions in the system. Step 1: Start by measuring the surface/length of the area on the hang standards you want to cover with the hang standard cover. Use sharp scissors or a utility knife to cut the corresponding lengths of the hang standard cover. Step 2: To install into the hang standard, start from the top and firmly press the cover into the “channel” (where the slots are) of the hang standard, working your way downwards. Tip: In cases where there are storage functions using only one slot (for example a lighting cable box), the cover can be cut around the mounting hooks.
