Recommended position is just in front of the slot on the bracket, around 260 mm (10 1/4") from the back of the bracket. End caps should be used also for side closet rod holder. A closet rod can be placed in a closet rod holder on one side and a side closet rod holder on the other regardless of depth (the solution is made for D: 40 / 16”, so for other depths there can be a minimal difference in level. The bracket with the side closet rod holder needs to be positioned 2 slots down from the bracket with the closet rod holder, to line up in a proper way.

Assembly Instructions

Before you start: Mount the bracket and the shelf. Step 1: Place one of the side closet rod holders over the side of the bracket - around 260 mm (10 1/4") from the back of the bracket. Step 2: Repeat on the other bracket. Step 3: Cut the closet rod to fit the width between the two brackets in the section: * W: 45 / 18" section = closet rod should be cut to around 430 mm (16-7/8") * W: 60 / 2' section = closet rod should be cut to around 585 mm (23") * W: 90 / 3' section = closet rod should be cut to around 880 mm (34-5/8") Step 4: Place closet rod end caps into the outer ends of the closet rod Step 5: Push down the closet rod into the closet rod holders.
