Frame sides to build a freestanding drawer system. Complement with crossbars and drawers for a complete storage solution.
The drawer system is a floor based system built on frames, crossbars and drawers. Can be placed in e.g. closets and laundry rooms - freestanding and on wheels. Combine drawer units and add accessories to build a storage system fitting your needs and space e.g. under a staircase.
The frame sides can hold up to 4 drawers depending on drawer size. Supplement with a top shelf to create a solid work surface or an extension kit to stack multiple units.

Planning rules
Planning drawer system unit depths: Standard depth is 535 mm Mini depth is 435 mm
Planning drawer system unit heights (height without frame feet, adjustable feet or casters): 4-runner: 440 mm 7-runner: 740 mm 10-runner: 1040 mm
When stacking drawer system units on top of each other, 30 mm is subtracted from the total height. For example: 440 mm + 440 mm = 880 mm – 30 mm = 850 mm.
Adding frame feet increases the total height by 2 mm. Adding casters increases the total height by 77 mm. Adding adjustable frame feet increases the total height by 50-63 mm.
Width: The following drawers and crossbars are available for drawer system units – Standard and Mini: W: 35 W: 45 W: 55

Assembly Instructions
You need the following to assemble: rubber hammer/mallet and something to protect the floor (carpet, piece of cardboard etc.). If you don’t have a rubber hammer/mallet, you can use a hammer with a wood block to protect the frame.
Before you start: Make sure to secure that you are working on a non-sensitive surface – for example on a carpet or use a wood block or a piece of cardboard under the frames to protect the floor when hammering.
Step 1: Start by turning the frame sides upside down and lining them up next to eachother. Secure that the “runners” (A), the U-shaped channels on the inside of the frames, are pointing inwards.
Step 2: Fasten the crossbars with “double teeth” (B) to the frame side, using the rubber hammer/mallet. The Elfa Logo on the crossbars will read upside down in this position.
Step 3: Turn the structure again.
Step 4: Fasten the remaining crossbars with the “single tooth” and a flat top (C).
When finished, attach casters or frame feet onto the bottom teeth.
When mounting a drawer system on top of another drawer system, use the crossbar extension set (see separate assembly instruction under ""Extension kit"").
