Technical description
Technical description
The bar that connects two frame sides into a drawer unit. Come in a pack with 2 top- and 2 base bars.
The crossbars determine the total width of the entire drawer unit. There are three widths: 35 cm, 45 cm and 55 cm.
There are two different sets of crossbars: the basic set of crossbars, which is used in all frame unit versions and the extension kit, which is used when combining frames on top of each other.
The same crossbars are used for both frame side depths (“standard” and “mini”).
2 metal colours:
White, close to NCS S 0300-N, gloss around 85
“Graphite”, a unique finish close to NCS S 8000-N, gloss around 50
Note: as our finishes are metallic/mixed powder, the NCS codes/gloss aren’t exact.
Planning rules
Planning rules
Planning drawer system unit depths:
Standard depth is 535 mm (21-1/8")
Mini depth is 435 mm (17-1/8")
Planning drawer system unit heights (height without frame feet, adjustable feet or casters):
4-runner: 440 mm (17-3/8")
7-runner: 740 mm (29-1/8")
10-runner: 1040 mm (41")
When stacking drawer system units on top of each other, 30 mm (1-1/8") is subtracted from the total height. For example:
440 mm (17-3/8") + 440 mm (17-3/8") = 880 mm (34-5/8") – 30 mm (1-1/8") = 850 mm (33-1/2").
Adding frame feet increases the total height by 2 mm (1/8").
Adding casters increases the total height by 77 mm (3").
Adding adjustable frame feet increases the total height by 50–63 mm (2"–2-1/2").
