Build your storage solution in three steps

STEP 1

Choose top hang or freestanding

The Elfa interior is based upon two different basic systems - top hang or freestanding. The different variants fit differently depending on the conditions of your wardrobe/storage area.

Top hang l Freestanding

Top hang

A wallbased system that hang on the Top track. The only thing you screw onto the wall is the Top track.

Wall mounting

Top hang is one of the mounting options within the Click-in system. Everything hangs on the Top track. Screw the Top track onto the wall. Hang the hang standards on the track and click in your storage functions. Complement with the features you need for storage to fit e.g. clothing, garage or laundry room. Since the Click-in system top hang is able to cut-to-size, it’s ideal for virtually any space where the wall is conventional. The only thing you have to screw onto the wall is the Top track.

Combine different sections to maximize your solution

The Click-in system is easy to customise. It is based on standard sections in width 45, 60 and 90. Customise your storage solution to fit the dimensions of your space by combining sections in 45, 60 and 90 widths next to each other.

Cut products to fit space

Sometimes combining standard sections is not enough to make the interior fit your space. You then have the possibility to cut interior products to create a section with a width less than the standard 45. Products that may be cut to exact measurments: 1) Top track 2) Wire shelf 3) Closet rod 4) Hang standard 5) Wire shelf basket When combining Top tracks for solutions wider than 3 sections, the Top track can be cut at the cutting mark for perfect fit with the total solution.

Top track planning

The widths of the Top tracks are designed to fit with standard section widths. Sometimes combining standard sections is not enough to make the interior fit your space, and the Top track needs to be cut. Always cut the Top track to the left in order to keep the end stop at the outer edges of the track. Always mount the Top track at least 1,5 cm from the ceiling.

Weight capacity and safety

A Click-in system top hang solution is based on sections. A section is the area created between two hang standards. Each section is designed to hold a maximum of 200 kg load. Make sure not to overload each product and to place your load evenly. Secure the condition of the wall. These recommendations are based on your wall being without defects. It is your responsibility to secure the condition of the wall and that it can withstand the load that will be applied.

Total width

The width of the top hang sections in the Click-in system in the table includes the outer edges of the Top track, 4 mm on both sides of the solution.

Freestanding

A floor based solution where you click in your storage functions. Choose between a single-sided for placement against a wall or double-sided if you would like to reach from both sides.

Double-sided

Our floor-standinguprights are double sides, which makes them perfect for a oom divider where you would like reach your storage from both sides. Complement with the features you need for optimal storage to fit e.g. clothing, garage or laundry room.

Single-sided

This option is ideal when you can’t – or don’t want to – mount your system directly on the wall e.g. when the wall can’t carry the weight, there is a window or when you want to leave the wall as it is. It’s also perfect as a room divider, since the upright standards are double-sided. Complement with the features you need forstorage to fit e.g. clothing, garage or laundry room.

STEP 2

Add shelves and drawers

We all have different storage needs. We have created extremely flexible solutions which you can adapt to fit your unique needs. Combine with drawer units and add accessories to build a storage system fitting your needs and space

Wire shelf

Wire shelf that airates and provides fresh clothes and good overview. Easily clicks in place between two click-in Bracket, no tools needed. Supplement with click-in Bracket of suitable depth. Available in different sizes. Can be cut to desired width. Available in white, platinum and graphite.

Melamine shelf

Melamine shelf with a smooth surface and fine texture, suitable as bookshelf. Mounts to Bracket for solid shelves of suitable depth. Secure with Shelf pin or Bracket screw. Available in different sizes. Can be cut to desired width.

Angled shelf metal

Slanted metal shelf, with raised front edge and integrated brackets for installation between two hang standard. Suitable for displaying shoes, books, and magazines. Available in white, platinum and graphite.

Gliding wire drawer

Gliding wire drawer for ventilation and overview. Easily clicks in place between two click-in Brackets, no tools needed. Available in different sizes. Available in white and platinum.

Gliding mesh drawer

Gliding mesh drawer for ventilation and overview, also suitable for smaller items. Easily clicks in place between two Bracket click-ins, no tools needed. Available in different sizes. Supplement with Mesh drawer divider. Available in white, platinum and graphite.

Wire drawer with Décor drawer front

Wire drawer combined with a decorative wooden front, keeping the storage hidden and creates a warm, decorative, and premium look. Drawer with good ventilation for keeping clothes fresh. Drawers and fronts available in different heights. Supplement with Bracket click-in 40. Available in white/white or platinum/grey.
