When planning in Elfa Planner, the design tool will help you determine potential placements of the hooks. The intended equipment you want to store in the hooks determines the placement. 3 hooks can be placed in the same storage track section, but make sure that the equipment you want to hang can fit in. Also, ensure that the equipment isn't heavier than the 10 kilo (per hook) weight recommendation. Note: If you aim to mount the hook directly to the wall, make sure to identify where there is an available stud to fasten the hook in (and adjust your planning if necessary).

Maximum load capacity per section: 200 kg (Classic by Elfa, click-in top-hung system) and 240 kg (Garage+/Décor+). Avoid overloading individual storage components and distribute the weight evenly across the system. Different products have different recommended maximum load capacities. For more information, please refer to the Product Information section for each product, as well as Measure & Plan. Before installation, check the wall material and condition. Elfa's product range is generally designed for normal use in residential indoor environments.
