Technical description

The wire drawer for gliding frame easily mounts in a gliding drawer frame in corresponding width/depth. Provides excellent ventilation and transparency for an easy overview.

The drawer is available in different combinations regarding width and height.

Metal colour:
White, close to NCS S 0300-N, gloss around 85
Note: as the finish is a mixed powder, the NCS code/gloss isn’t exact.

Planning rules

When planning in Elfa Planner, the design tool will automatically combine the right gliding drawer frame when choosing a gliding wire drawer. The design tool will also help you plan drawers above eachother.

Multiple gliding drawer frames can be placed next to eachother, sharing the same bracket, but can not be placed next to products that require 1 slot (such as angled shelf, storing board etc.).

Make sure not to plan drawers too close to eachother, for example when planning a 185 mm height drawer, leave 5 pairs of free slots down to the next drawer.

Also, leave sufficient space in front of a solution containing gliding functions. A D:40 gliding function requires 290 mm additional free space in front of it, in order to be able to extend fully. Total solution depth for a click-in system with fully extended gliding functions D:40 is 740 mm from the back wall.

Before you start: Mount the gliding drawer frame.

Then simply insert the drawer from above, so that it rests safely within the frame. No other attachment is needed.

Tip: When installing drawers, start with the bottom drawer and work your way up.
