The shelf has integrated covering plastic sides in matching colour, ensuring a neat alignment when two shelves are mounted next to eachother. No tools needed; clicks easily between two bracket click-in in corresponding depth. Add bracket cover left and right to create a clean finish.

Made from chipboard with melamine surface, with a nice finish on the visible edges. The shelf is designed to resist bowing under typical circumstances. Our melamine is: scratch resistant, water repellent and durable. Attachments to the bracket made from durable plastic, designed to give a smooth finish between two adjacent shelves. No bracket cover center required. Comes in various depths and widths.

When planning in Elfa Planner, the design tool will help you integrate click-in melamine shelves in places where you want to have a solid surface (perhaps in combination with wire shelves). Click-in melamine shelves can be planned next to eachother, sharing the same bracket click-in. Ideal if you like clean, straight lines or want continuous shelving over multiple sections. They can also share a bracket click-in with a wire shelf. Click-in melamine shelves can not be cut to size. D:30 shelves are perfect for narrow storage areas, such as hallways. D:40 and D:50 can be used for larger and/or more bulky items. When planning your solution, bear in mind that an even spread of stored items across the shelves is preferable, evenly loading the entire solution. Do not place all of the weight on the bottom shelves. Plan for placing hang standards closer (W:45-W:60) together when you aim for heavier loads.
