”Golf has taught me to focus on the present”

Sara started playing golf to find a common activity with her husband. Over 20 years later, golf has become a major part of her daily life.

Golf is always present

For Sara and her family, golf is a constant presence. The home in central Skåne, which she shares with her husband Daniel, their two children, and the Labrador Gaston, is just a tee shot away from the golf course. Additionally, Sara works with marketing in the golf industry. The sport is simply always present, as she describes it.

"For me, it’s important that it’s easy"

"It doesn't have to be 18 holes on the weekend. It can be an early morning round, a few holes after work with my husband, or just a moment to myself." By organising the equipment smartly, it's easy to just head out. That’s exactly how Sara wants it to be.

The Golf has taught Sara to focus on the present and to let go of setbacks. "There are no shortcuts, no magic trick to get better. It’s about rubbing on - stroke after stroke after stroke." For Sara, golf means focus, discipline - and lots of fun, of course.
