Technical description

The bracket is the component that holds many products in the Garage+ system. Two products with the same/corresponding depth can share one bracket. Brackets are made of high quality/strength steel, providing a strong and stable construction with a great load capacity. They are easy to assemble and re-assemble in the hang standard slots, when you need to change position in the system. When only one product is assembled in the bracket, the other side of the bracket can be covered by a bracket cover. The bracket features a cut-out underneath, intended for attaching a closet rod holder. Colour: Matte Grey (polyester colour) NCS S 7500-N, fine texture, gloss 5

Planning rules

When planning in Elfa Planner, the design tool will calculate the right amount of brackets. Maximum load per section is 240 kg. Do not store too much on each interior product and distribute the weight evenly across the system. Ensure the material and condition of the wall. A bracket (or other product mounted into the standard) can not be placed in the lowest 2 hang standard slots, since the load capacity is weaker there.

Maximum load capacity per section: 200 kg (Classic by Elfa, click-in top-hung system) and 240 kg (Garage+/Décor+). Avoid overloading individual storage components and distribute the weight evenly across the system. Different products have different recommended maximum load capacities. For more information, please refer to the Product Information section for each product, as well as Measure & Plan. Before installation, check the wall material and condition. Elfa's product range is generally designed for normal use in residential indoor environments.

Care

Wipe clean with a cloth dampered with a mild cleaner. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Before you start: Mount the hang standards into the top track. Tip: Before mounting the brackets, group the hang standards next to eachother and place out the brackets. This in order to quickly see that the brackets are placed in corresponding slots. Assemble the brackets into the hang standard by leaning the "nose" (A) of the bracket upwards and attaching the upper "teeth" (B) of the backside of the bracket into the slots. Then let the bracket come down.
