How would you describe a personal home?

For us at Elfa, a personal home is an organised and harmonious place where you feel secure and comfortable and can relax. It requires some time and effort to create that sense of ease and well-being that allows you to be yourself; you may need to sort out your belongings, improve your storage arrangements or refurnish your rooms. Small details can make a huge difference and a tidy, well-organised home will almost invariably leave you feeling content and at peace. Making optimal use of the space and fittings also gives your home a personal feel.

Det är inte ovanligt att uttrycka sin identitet genom olika personliga prylar i hemmet. Dock är det viktigt för trivsamheten att inte låta alla personliga tillhörigheter ligga framme hela tiden. 73 procent av svenskar känner nämligen en lättnad efter att ha rensat bort prylar i hemmet*. Ett annat alternativ är att inte ensamt äga sina tillhörigheter, utan att i perioder dela eller byta med andra. Det innebär ett cirkulärt utbyte som både ger variation i hemmet, en personlig känsla och samtidigt är snällare mot miljön. Framtidsexperten och Elfa Insightsmedlem Christian von Essen delar sina visioner om de kommande 10 åren och lyftet av delningsekonomin.

Trender

Under ett årtionde hinner massvis av saker du gillar förändras och livet likaså. Trender kommer och går, och våra personliga prylar – de består. 4 av 5 personer (86 procent) har saker hemma som är svåra att göra sig av med. Bra förvaring gör det enkelt att hålla ordning, få undan det man inte vill ha framme och framhäva det man vill ska synas. En smidig lösning för att göra hemmet trivsamt och personligt.

5 tips för ett personligare hem:

Sortera ut godbitar ur trenderna – inred med prylar som ditt hjärta slår ett extra slag för, så hemmet fungerar i längden också.
Investera bara i saker du älskar – slopa slit och släng kulturen, satsa istället på inredning som du verkligen behöver och som har bra kvalitet.
Ge inredningen tid – samla inspiration, moodboards och testa dig fram med olika kombinationer. Prylarna hittar till slut sin rätta plats!
Rensa och behåll bara saker du verkligen gillar – under åren samlar vi på oss massvis, se till att sälja eller ge bort saker regelbundet och omge dig istället med saker du gillar.
Mixa och matcha – blanda gärna nytt med gammalt, ljust med mörkt, mönstrat med enfärgat. Det ger en betydligt personligare känsla i hemmet och en dynamisk helhet när man lyckas få en fin balans i inredningen.
