You need the following to assemble: Drilling machine with a 1-2 mm drill bit, a screwdriver with a PH 2 bit for the screw and measuring tape.

Before you start: Mount the wallbands and brackets.

Step 1: Place the melamine shelf on the brackets and ensure (measure carefully) that it is placed in the intended, final, position.

Step 2: Through the holes in the bracket, mark where to fasten the screws to the shelf. Mark through both the front and rear hole in the bracket.

Step 3: Place the shelf on a flat surface and drill 1-2 mm diameter holes into the shelf (at the marks), in order to prevent cracks when attaching the screws. This also helps you to better guide the screws into position when fastening them.

Tip: In order not to drill through the shelf, a small piece of tape placed on the drill bit (around 10 mm from the tip for a shelf with a height/thickness of 18-19 mm) helps you identify where to stop drilling.

Step 4: Place the shelf back on the brackets and carefully attach the shelf to the bracket, using the longer screws for the rear hole and the shorter screws for the front hole.
