When planning in Elfa Planner, the design tool will help you determine potential placements of the hook. The intended equipment you want to store in the hook determines the placement. For example, if you want to store a ladder, make sure that the hook is placed high enough in the system to make room for the legs of the ladder. Also, ensure that the equipment isn't heavier than the 25 kilo weight recommendation. We recommend a maximum of 3 "big hooks" (Straight hook, wide L-hook, J-hook, vertical/horizontal bike hook, golf bag holder, square mesh storage bag, track mesh basket) on a W: 60 / 2' storage track. Note: If you aim to mount the hook directly to the wall, make sure to identify where there is an available stud to fasten the hook in (and adjust your planning if necessary).
