Technical description

Drawer to be added to a lower cabinet for drawers to get a complete drawer cabinet. Available in 3 heights.
Lower cabinet frame for drawers is a different product than the lower cabinet frame included in the lower cabinet kit (7400028) due to locking function components in top and back. Therefore, a lower cabinet shelf (4700105) can not be mounted in a lower cabinet frame for drawers.
Lower cabinet can be:
* hung in the standards with cabinet standard mounting kit
* movable with casters
* freestanding with adjustable feet.
To get a complete lower cabinet with drawers you need the following items:
* Lower cabinet frame for drawers (4700099)
* Lower cabinet chest drawer (4700101) and/or Lower cabinet shallow drawer (4700102) and/or Lower cabinet deep drawer (4700103). See planning rules for possible configurations.
Cabinet Drawers come in 3 heights, have an integrated handle in the Front with end caps in plastic, are flat packed and feature heavy duty slides and all needed hardware included in the packaging.
Possible additions to the lower cabinet for drawers (depending on mounting option):
* Lower Cabinet Casters (4700123)
* Cabinet Standard Mounting Kit (4800082)
* Cabinet adjustable feet (4700119)
* Lower cabinet handles (4700134)
Corner protection in black PP-plastic.
The top of the cabinet can be used as a shelf. Top is reinforced for this cabinet

Planning rules

When planning in Elfa Planner, the design tool will help you plan your different cabinet features.
There are 11 positions for drawers in the lower cabinet for drawers:
Chest drawer = 1 position: height 59 mm (2-3/8")
Shallow drawer = 2 positions: height 123 mm (4-7/8")
Deep drawer = 4 positions: height 251 mm (9-7/8")
The sum must equal a total of 11 positions.

The daily use of Elfa storage solutions requires both materials and craftsmanship of the highest quality. We develop products designed to last, and our 10-year warranty is a promise of exactly that.
Elfa products are covered by a 10-year warranty from the date of purchase.




What is covered by the warranty?
The warranty covers defects in materials and workmanship under normal residential use. It also covers functional defects in moving components such as wheels, soft-close mechanisms, and pull-out functions.
This commercial warranty does not affect your statutory rights under applicable consumer protection legislation.




Warranty Provider
The warranty provider is Elfa International AB, Sweden.




How to make a claim
If there is an issue with your product, contact the retailer/store where you made your purchase and bring your receipt. The store will then inform Elfa. We at Elfa will do everything we can to provide a response to your claim as quickly as possible. However, it is important that you report any defect promptly, and therefore we recommend that you unpack and inspect your delivery immediately.
If you cannot bring the product to the store, please take a photo showing the defect. Take one photo from approximately 1 metre away and one close-up photo with a nearby object (for example, a matchbox or pen) for size comparison in the case of surface damage.




How we help you
In the event of an approved claim, Elfa undertakes, at no cost to you as a consumer, to repair or replace the defective product or component.
Repair or replacement of individual parts is prioritised in order to extend the product's lifespan. If this is not possible, the product will be replaced with a new or equivalent item.




Limitations
Naturally, we expect that you take good care of your Elfa products. A product that has been stored, assembled, or used incorrectly is not covered by the warranty. External damage and consequential damage occurring after your delivery has been accepted are not covered by the warranty.

Assembly Instructions

Step 1: Lay out the drawer box with the two corner tabs facing upwards.
Step 2: Fold up the sides along the perforations until the two corner tabs reach the bottom of the drawer.
Step 3: Align the drawer front with the front of the drawer according to the illustration.
Step 4: Insert screws from the inside of the drawer and tighten with a screwdriver to secure the drawer front.
Step 5: Insert end caps on each side of the drawer front to secure it to the drawer box.
Step 6: Insert the back of the drawer between the two corner tabs according to the illustration.
Step 7: Use four screws to secure the back from the inside of the drawer. Turn the drawer over, insert four screws as shown, and tighten with a screwdriver.
Step 8: Pull the runner out to the fully open position. Press down the black plastic part and remove the inner runner.
Step 9: Position the inner runner as shown, with the slots in the runner aligned with the holes on the side of the drawer.
Note: The front hook on the runner must point upwards.
Step 10: Press in the rear hook before positioning the front one. Then press upwards to lock both hooks in place.
Step 11: Install the outer runner in the desired position in the cabinet frame sides.
Step 12: Add additional outer runners depending on the desired drawer configuration.
Note: During first installation, slightly more force is required. Install the drawers from bottom to top. Slide each drawer onto the runners in the cabinet and push until the drawer is aligned with the front of the cabinet.
Note: Base cabinets with drawers may have adjustable frame feet instead of casters.
