Technical description

A set of pant rack rods, to be assembled into a gliding frame D: 40 / 16". Pant rack rods are made in aluminum and have an insert in thermoplastic rubber (TPR) running on top of the rod from back to front, preventing pants from falling off. Plastic holders (in poly carbonate plastic) in front and back to be assembled into the gliding frame. Pre-assembled rubber pads lock the position. There is no fixed position for the rods in the gliding frame, they are flexible in placement. 2 unique metal colours: Matte White (polyester colour) NCS S 0300-N, fine texture, gloss 5 Matte Grey (polyester colour) NCS S 7500-N, fine texture, gloss 5

Planning rules

When planning in Elfa Planner, the design tool will provide you with ready-configured options with gliding frame, an added insert for shoes/pants and a trim for gliding frame. Be sure to check that the chosen colours are correct. Be sure to leave sufficient room for a feature below the pant rack, so that pants/skirts can hang freely. We recommend around 20 pairs of slots free from features below the pant rack (depending on size/length of the pants).

Maximum load capacity per section: 200 kg (Classic by Elfa, click-in top-hung system) and 240 kg (Garage+/Décor+). Avoid overloading individual storage components and distribute the weight evenly across the system. Different products have different recommended maximum load capacities. For more information, please refer to the Product Information section for each product, as well as Measure & Plan. Before installation, check the wall material and condition. Elfa's product range is generally designed for normal use in residential indoor environments.

Care

Wipe clean with a cloth dampered with a mild cleaner. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Assembly Instructions

Before you start: Finish assembling the gliding frame. Angle in the first pant rack rod into the gliding frame, starting from the left. The clip on the back of each rod snaps around the upper part of the gliding frame. Continue to position all rods into the gliding frame, withouit locking them in the front. This in order to secure that you are happy with the positioning, before locking them (the rods are possible to slide and adjust in position sideways). When you have placed the pant rack rods in the desired positions, push them firmly down in the front (for locking). When pressing down, simultaniously hold on the underside of the gliding frame as support.
