Technical description

Caps to be placed at the end of a closet rod to create a clean and finished look. Come in a 2-pack. Made from plastic with the visible piece in closet rod matching colour. End caps packaging also includes an adapter to be used when two closet rods shares closet rod holder. Adapter is made in PA plastic with fiberglass. Note: The adapter can not be used for joining closet rods outside a closet rod holder.

Planning rules

When planning in Elfa Planner, the design tool will automatically add closet rod end caps when planning a closet rod. When planning joining closet rods that share a closet rod holder: Do not add end caps to joined ends, since this creates a gap. Only the outer ends of a closet rod solution need end caps. Note that adding closet rod end caps, adds to the closet rod total width - 2 mm (1/16") per closet rod end cap – 4 mm (5/32") if adding on both ends. Two closet rods can only be joined in a closet rod holder, regardless if they are joined by an adapter.

Note! Do not place Elfa products in direct contact with water.

Wipe clean with a cloth dampered with a mild cleaner. Wipe dry with a clean cloth.

Firmly press the end caps into the outer ends of the closet rod. Then snap the closet rod into the closet rod holders. Note: When installing closet rods that share a closet rod holder, place closet rod end caps only into the "non-joined" ends of each closet rod. Do not add end caps to joined ends, since this creates a gap. Use the adapter piece provided in the closet rod end caps packaging to join two closet rods.
