Maximum width of the closet rod should be 900 mm. If wider solution, add a central holder for closet rod (to be attached under melamine top between the drawer system units).

Maximum load capacity per section: 200 kg (Classic by Elfa, click-in top-hung system) and 240 kg (Garage+/Décor+). Avoid overloading individual storage components and distribute the weight evenly across the system. Different products have different recommended maximum load capacities. Elfa's product range is generally designed for normal use in residential indoor environments.

Assembly Instructions

Before you start: Finish assembling the drawer system unit with frame sides, crossbars and drawers.  If needed, cut the closet rod to the desired width. Step 1: Click on the frame side piece of the two closet rod holders onto the outer frame sides by snapping it onto the outside of the top two runners. Aim for a position close to the middle of the runners in order to get even hanging space back/forward. Step 2: Click the closet rod into place into the closet rod holder. Step 3: Then click the closet rod into place between the closet rod holders.
