Elfa – a piece of Swedish history

What started as a simple idea for storage developed into a company that is the market leader within its industry. Arne Lydmar was the innovator and engineer who founded the company in the late 1940s, when he started manufacturing a storage system using metal wire. His ideas were refined and over the years, leading designers have helped take the products to new heights.

Elfa supplies smart, made-to-measure and highly durable storage solutions in Scandinavian design, helping to make life easier in an innovative manner. We continue to explore new options and develop new concepts. That means that our products can now be found anywhere in the home – from the kitchen and bedroom to the garage and storeroom.
